Glue-laminated log

Advantages of glue-laminated logs

A glue-laminated log consists of two or more lamellas glued together in the same direction.

This structure allows the production of logs with large cross-sections.

Surface cracking in glue-lam logs is minimal, and they do not twist along their length. However, their moisture movement is similar to that of traditional solid logs, meaning that wall settling must be taken into account in the conventional way.
